How Netter works

Netter Intelligence is an AI proxy for businesses: one interface connects your team's tools to providers configured by Netter. The portal lets you chat, distribute credit and review usage; the APIs expose the same authorized models to your software.

Three addresses to know

AddressPurpose
llm.netter.ioProduct information and legal documents
admin.llm.netter.ioCustomer portal and administration panel, depending on your role
https://api.llm.netter.io/v1Inference APIs for applications and tools

Although its hostname contains admin, the portal is also the normal customer entry point. Administration menus are available only to authorized roles.

From sign-in to your first answer

  1. Create an account or sign in with an existing identity. Read Account and sign-in.
  2. Complete company details and the required declarations. Read Company details.
  3. Open Plafond e consumi and request a top-up of at least €20 net. The initial balance is zero.
  4. Wait for a verified payment to be credited. Bank transfers require a Netter operator's check; when Stripe is enabled, credit follows verified payment confirmation.
  5. If necessary, the company administrator distributes credit through Team e quote.
  6. Open Chat AI, or create a personal key in Chiavi API and configure your tool.

AI use also requires an allowed model and an active mapping/provider. A positive balance cannot make an unconfigured provider available.

How a request travels

The server checks identity, workspace, key, model and limits. When PII protection is enabled, recognized personal data in text is replaced locally. The maximum estimated credit is reserved before the request reaches the provider. Original values are restored in the answer, and measured usage determines the final settlement.

Streaming answers arrive progressively. An interruption may leave usage awaiting reconciliation if the provider did not return final usage counters.

What a model name means

Choose a real upstream name, a configured public alias, or switchyard, the intelligent router. Capabilities depend on the model and protocol, rather than fixed quality tiers. Read Models and policies.

Who manages what

Company administrators manage people, groups, allocations and workspace settings. Netter manages providers, mappings, payment verification and service configuration. A reseller manages its own scope and linked companies within delegated permissions.
